NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Monday, Americans will take time to honor those who fought and died for their country for Memorial Day. Several Middle Tennessee communities are holding remembrances or other events in honor of the fallen. Here are some we found taking place Monday, May 29. Memorial Day Classic – Hendersonville The 17th annual Memorial Day Classic 10K, 5K and 1-mile family fun run/walk will happen at 7 a.m. at Drakes Creek Park in Hendersonville. Virtual options are also available.
