Rachel Peck stands inside the former rural Maury County storefront that will become the headquarters of her nonprofit organization, 431 Ministries, in Columbia, Tenn., on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022. 431 Ministries is a Christian-centered nonprofit organization that helps women escape from abusive relationships and other unsafe circumstances in southern Middle Tennessee. One organization in Antioch teaches dancing to empower youth. A handful of other Middle Tennessee nonprofits help feed and clothe struggling families.
